Force India confirms Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi will remain with the team for the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship.

BBC Sport have reported that BMW has provisionally agreed to sell its BMW Sauber Formula 1 team back to team founder Peter Sauber.
The move comes after BMW cancelled plans to sell to Qadbank Investments.
Sauber, who retained a 20% stake in the team when he sold it to BMW in 2005, will take complete control if they are allowed to race next season.

Autosport amongst others, have reported that Volkswagen is seriously evaluating a move into Formula 1 as an engine supplier from 2012, when new power unit regulations due to be introduced could make the sport attractive enough for the German car maker to get involved.

At last, my NaNoWriMo effort has been completed (ending at over 61,000 words), but I am still very much in the writing mode, so I figured that since I have not seen one here yet, I would post a game guide of sorts for F1 2009. This is based on the Wii version using the Classic Controller (the game also supports Wiimote & Nunchuck combination, Racing Wheel, and Logitech Wii Racing Wheel, and is also available for PSP). I have not had an opportunity to explore Multiplayer, nor have I attempted Championship or Career yet.

Also, as an FYI, I have not played an F1-dedicated games in years – not since Grand Prix Challenge or F1 Career Challenge, both on PS2. That may affect my perception of F1 2009. I am also definitely not a newcomer to F1 or to F1 games, so beginners to these games or to this specific form of motorsport may be a bit baffled by some comments.

F1 2009 Game Guide - Rather Long!!! )

Hopefully this has been at least moderately useful for those who just bought F1 2009 or are considering buying the game. Overall, it is definitely a worthwhile game to have, and should hopefully dispel the non-F1 blues inherent to the off-season.

So my interview with Mark Webber was on Monday night. It went pretty well, he did seem a tad 'grumpy' to put it nicely, but I'm going to put that down to it being early in the UK when I called him. The interview went for about 15 minutes and is going to air on my F1 show on Monday afternoon (AEST). I will post the podcast link if you guys want to hear it of course. My favourite quote from him was when I asked him which team he would love to drive for if given the choice, to which he replied "You'd never see me driving a McLaren mate, you'd be dreamin'!"

Also as part of my interview I sent off a couple of posters to get signed for my portfolio of guests I have interviewed on my radio shows and I got them back last week and below is what they look like

I also managed to get in contact with Sabine Kehm, and for those of you who don't know who that is she is Michael Schumacher's personal assistant and media advisor. I emailed her in regards to an interview, never expecting to get a reply but she was nice enough to write back to me to say that unfortunately Michael doesn't do phone interviews and has no plans to come to Australia at the moment. I replied asking where I could write off to get an autograph, and to my suprise last week when I went to host my other radio show I had a letter with this in it

I was so shocked! First I thought it was printed as you can get autograph cards off his website. But the signature is in a different position and is a different colour, and I also smuged a little bit of the tail so I know it's real! It's my most prized possesion in the whole world now! After my girlfriend of course....

BBC Sport reports that Mercedes have confirmed Nico Rosberg for 2010

Meanwhile, in an interview with German newspaper Bild, Ross Brawn has has shot down intensifying speculation that Michael Schumacher is set to return to Formula One in 2010.
When asked about the speculation by Bild, Brawn replied: "There's nothing to it except a dream of the media"
"Michael would have come back temporarily for Ferrari, but he doesn't want to start a new career" said the Briton.

Schumacher's manager Willi Weber also rubbished the media rumours, saying: "Michael often speaks with Brawn" but added that the seven time world champion "has not said anything to me personally about contact with Mercedes over a driver's contract"

The Telegraph is reporting that Schumacher may drive for Mercedes next year. Seems like rumour-mongering to me, but he'd be with Ross Brawn again...

Postcard winners!

We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for sending so much joy our way. Frank is still blushing with excitement over the love notes, proposals, propositions, and occasional intimate photos sent from his admirers around the world (China, Norway, Japan, and Poland just this week)! At his request, we blindfolded Justin, one of Frank's BFFs, spun him around in five dozen counterclockwise circles, and asked him to point to ten random postcards/envelopes pasted to the wall. After a brief trip to the bathroom, he chose the following lucky winners, to whom we will give a six-month paid account token (for paid, basic, and plus users) or, for our permanent account holders, a $15 voucher for the LiveJournal gift shop.

So, without further ado, the winners are:
